I started blogging about 4 years ago. At first it was a hobby, something to past the time, and an avenue to rant about how much I hated the actions of others. Initially, my post were titled “Ramble On About Your Thoughts” and that is exactly what my post were, a long ramble. 

I begin to develop a love for poetry over the years, and growing up, I was quite the sucker for love and romance. I began to write under the name, “The Sutra” in late 2011. Yes it is derived from the name “Karma Sutra”, which is all about sex. The goal was to put a different spin on things by taking the sex out of the equations and focus on the sensory feelings and emotions involved. Don’t get me wrong I still enjoy writing poetry and will still post poems up under “The Sutra” name but that ship has sailed. 

Fast forward to three years later to December 2014 and I found myself at a cross road. I had been passionate about love and romance for a long time, but still loved writing about other things like current events, music, sports, food, etc. After lots of contemplating, I decided to shake things up a little bit.
